What does adaptive load correction do?

Adaptive load correction is available on the SIGMA PC System and the SIGMA Hand-held on SIGMA 2 load banks.

When load is applied, SIGMA will calculate loading using the instrumentation values, instead of the rated values. This will compensate for any Voltage droop or Frequency variation by adjusting the load accordingly.

If the Voltage droops, it is necessary for SIGMA to instruct the load bank to apply more load elements to achieve a constant load. As a safety feature, the load correction algorithm will not apply more than 10% extra load than that requested.
