Liquid Cooled Load Bank FAQs
Liquid cooled load banks are electrical devices that simulate electrical loads, allowing equipment such as generators, UPS systems, and power supplies to be tested under real-world conditions. Instead of air, these load banks use liquid (typically water or a coolant) to absorb and dissipate the heat generated during testing.
Liquid cooled load banks are commonly used in data centers, renewable energy systems, marine applications, oil & gas, and industrial sectors where large-scale power systems are employed and heat management is critical.
- Validation: Many data centers now use liquid cooling and the load bank can be used during commissioning to validation of those systems.
- Low noise: as there are no fans there is very little noise during operation.
- Smaller footprint: As there is no hot air discharge there isn’t a requirement of free space for dissipation.
Currently we offer a 500kW version, however we will be launching a variety of capacities during 2025.
